About me

Hi, I'm Vasu.

I'm a Senior UX Designer at Amazon, where I work on the moments that make or break a purchase — cart, checkout, and the delivery promise that sits between "buy now" and "it's here."

Before that, I spent years doing service design at Accenture/Fjord — redesigning a disability claims app for Prudential, untangling a provider portal for Independence Blue Cross. That work taught me what I still care most about: designing at the constraint layer, where business rules, system limits, and real human stakes all collide at once.

I've also built a company, taught design at Parsons and FIT, and spent a lot of time lately thinking about where AI ends and human judgment should begin. Sage is that thinking, made into a project.

My background is in journalism, which means I write before I wireframe and I still think the clearest design statement is a sentence.
